Stockmeier Two Pieces: Präludium and Elegie (Trumpet & Organ)

The German composer, organist and academic, Wolfgang Stockmeier (1931 - 2015), studied school and church music as well as composition at the Kölner Musikhochschule. He continued his studies at the University of Köln and then in 1960 taught theory, organ and organ improvisation at the Kölner Musikhochschule later becoming Director of the department for Evangelist church music.  He also taught in Düsseldorf and Herford.  Wolfgang Stockmeier composed around 400 works.
