Friedrich Liezwicht for Tenor Saxophone & Viola

Burkhard Friedrich (b.1962 in Berlin) studied composition and classical saxophone in Stuttgart, Lübeck and Berlin.  He has written numerous chamber operas, music-theatre works and works for chamber orchestra.  He has received various international prizes for his compositions and his interpretations of contemporary music on the saxophone.
