Johannes Driessler (1921-1998) was a German composer, organist and lecturer.  He studied organ and composition at the Musikhochschule in Cologne and much of his composing was church music.  He was a professor and later Vice Chancellor at the Northwest German Academy of Music in Detmold from 1959 to 1972.
